Copywriter specialising in translating complexity into simplicity.
I am told I am particularly good at understanding complexity – quickly – and being able to translate it into clear explanations. I think I am also good at taking abstract concepts and making them real enough for people to believe in. In short, I turn fluff into concrete.
I tend to look for clients who do something complex – or even boring – because it is a satisfying process to make them interesting.
I can work with anyone who wants to work with me, tries hard and has a sense of humour.
I believe I can give any client/business/product/service a pleasant, interesting and engaging tone of voice and personality.
My personal values are Schoolboy Enthusiasm, Generosity and Wit.
So, I want to get excited about a client and really dig deep into what they do. I am generous with my time and experience. And I use a lighthearted approach that I hope makes people smile – when appropriate.
I love to present in person and even managed to do a TEDx talk – so I have a degree of media training.
