Communication Specialist (English)

Communication is my field of work and my biggest passion. As a language prodigy, I learned English at the age of two, went on to study English Linguistics and American Studies at University, and have been translating, speaking and writing in US English for 8 hours a day every day, for the past 20 years.

I speak native US English, with the added bonus of linguistic insights and knowledge. My English translations have been published in the US by a prestigious academic publishing house, because my US English is at native standard. I am a passionate writer, and I’m currently working on a volume of my own flash fiction and poetry, to be published in 2025.

Over the course of my career, I have shaped the online voices of international brands on Social Media, and amassed extensive experience in English proofreading, copywriting, interpreting, subtitling, and translation. For the last two decades, I have specialized in working with the subtleties of the English language, to create messages that meet their mark with effortless grace, while staying true to the identity of the speaker, and the needs of the audience.

I have also single-handedly coordinated nation-wide digital PR projects, and become disciplined in the rigors of working fully remote for large, international corporations, through efficient time management and independent, self-motivated work, combined with close collaboration with extended teams and stakeholders alike.
